Canadian band Tasseomancy popped in to The Crypt Sessions HQ recently to deliver this spellbinding set. Twin sisters Sari and Romy Lightman (formally of Ghost Bees) were busy touring with countrymates Austra when they popped into to our studio for a brief diversion. Ethereal mysticism, perfumed drones, and haunting harmonies helped to conjur up the perfect accompaniment to The Crypt’s ancient ambience.

Tasseomancy’s second album ‘Ulalume’ was released in the UK last month on Turf Records. Named after the Edgar Allen Poe poem, the lyrics deal with amongst other things, the themes of death and loss.
